A Study On The History Of Modern Urban Planning And Construction Of Zhangjiakou City

Zhangj iakou is one of the most important cities of the Capital Region. In modern times, Zhangjiakou City was mainly responsible for the functions of the former military defense. With the construction of Beijing-Zhangjiakou railway, it became the starting point of Zhangjiakou Modern Urban Planning and Construction. From the perspective of urban planning, use literature survey, site investigation and comparative to analyze Zhangjiakou Modern Urban Construction Practice from1902to1952, to sort out city status and urban functions, spatial morphology, urban construction a comprehensive analysis of institutions and other organizations, which found in modern urban construction and urban status in the region are inseparable, as well as multi-agent collaborative planning the important role of urban development.This thesis is divided into three parts and consisted of total mainly seven chapters.The first part is the research background, research content, research status and development trends, research methods and technical route, and text scoping study.The second part is Chapters2-4, is the key sections of this article. The second chapter outlines the background of Zhangjiakou Modern Urban Construction, made history as the basis of modern urban construction stages of Zhangjiakou. Two chapters, namely in terms of historical background, major urban construction practice, the main building and the relevant documents, discussed the promotion of urban development under the Beijing-Zhangj iakou Railway (1902-1929), the turbulent social environment hinder urban development (1929--1948), the early days of rehabilitation of urban construction (1948-1952) of the three historical periods, the main contents and characteristics of Zhangjiakou city construction and development.The third part is the fifth chapter, the characteristics of modern urban planning and construction of Zhangjiakou analyze, summarize the evolution of the status of the city and urban functions, characteristics of urban functions, spatial form, the main building and other aspects of co-development of Beijing, Tianjin reference.This thesis aims to sort out the history of modern urban planning and construction in Zhangjiakou to Beijing, Tianjin and the perspective of research in the Beijing-Zhangj iakou Railway promote Zhangjiakou evolved into a fortress by the military tends to develop the characteristics and evolution of the regional composite centers, summing up the historical experience, as Beijing, Tianjin and collaborative planning and research, and promote coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and biography.
