Nowadays, with the energy crisis intensified, a huge demand for renewable and green energy has been suggested. As a reliable energy, green solar energy has been extended to all the world. From the very beginning, it was been used in solar hot water, solar lights, etc., to the present, the green solar has formed a large-scale industrial. In addition to large-scale photovoltaic power plants, distributed solar micro-grid systems are also popular. Therefore, it has a very important theoretical value and practical significance to solve the power problem of the photovoltaic power generation system.The meaning of photovoltaic power generation system power optimization problem is as follows. During the power generation process of large PV power plant, since there are individual differences in the power generation characteristics of the solar cell,and these differences are likely to lead a seriously power consumption to part of the system or even the whole system. The most common problems are photovoltaic power plants in the current series branch to take a small effect and parallel branch voltage clamping effect. The main reasons for these two effects are the uneven illumination intensity of the sun and the shadow caused by shelter. When the above happens, the solar cell output characteristics will change, which makes series of solar panels cannot work, power will be lost in the form of heat instead of being passed out.The common solution of the power tracking problem is the Maximum Power Point Tracking(MPPT),which refers to real-time monitoring of the solar cell output characteristic, tracking maximize solar cell output power. The technology covers the PV array modeling, power optimization technology, modern power electronics change technology, control theory and other areas. Now present, MPPT technology has been nearly mature, but still cannot perfectly deal with PV system power loss, improvement is still necessary.This paper presents a Power optimizer to monitor every piece of solar cell directly, which replaces traditional power tracking mode and adjusts the output characteristics of solar cells monitored by power optimizer. Not only solving the problem of power track, and optimizing power loss problems of the power generation system mentioned above. Meanwhile, communication function has been added in the optimizer, which makes the solar cell power plant easier to monitor.
