Study On Landscape Renovation Of Haizhu Wetland Orchard In Guangzhou

Taking the Haizhu wetland orchard as the research object, the content of orchard history,status and problems were discussed, and then the orchard renovation modes and schemeswere studied. The research contents and results are as follows.(1) Through analyzing the orchard background, Haizhu wetland orchard is badly in needof renovation, which belongs to the category of landscape renovation of urban agriculturewetland.(2) The development context and protection history of Haizhu wetland orchard wasanalyzed. The orchard has a long history, originated in the Han Dynasty, developed throughWei Jin Southern and Northern, Tang and Song dynasties, till fetching new highs in Ming andQing periods. In the later Qing dynasty, because of the affection of the change of society, theorcard has been destroyed seriously. Despite the orchard production was restored anddeveloped after the founding of the PRC, but did not reach the level of the past. The orchardprotection has experienced from"lease land" to "requisition land","one point" to "whole area"protection exploration since the1990s.(3) The current situation of orchard was investigated; there are11families,14generaand16species of fruit trees in survey area. Planting number from largest to smallest areclausena lansium, longan, carambola, Litchi, and others. The corresponding figures are61.8%,19.1%,13.4%,1.7%，and4%. The orchard has superior natural and geographical conditions,abundant water resources and a significant feature of the Pearl River Delta wetland. But italso has a lot of problems, such as, eroded land, deterioration of the ecological environment,Low orchard productivity, conflicts of protection and utilization between shot-term andlong-term.(4) Based on the current situation, the idea of creating beautiful agriculture landscapethrough the forces of nature, ecological management, and manual adjustment was put forward.5renovation models were summed up. Focus of renovation is land use planning, vegetationrestoration, urban river water quality improvement and road reconstruction. Some fruit treesand ornamental plants were to be selected for references. In view of the current situation ofserious Zn, Cd pollution,15kinds of aquatic plants were to be selected to fight pollution and purify the water.(5) Taking a landscape design project of Shangchong Park as a renovation example. Onthe basis of situation investigating and renovation analyzing, the scheme of Zhongkai--Haizhuagricultural science and technological park are explored. The plants are abundant; there are43families,63genera,68species, including9species of fruit trees. Then taking the nationalagricultural science and technology park as the construction goal, the park will become aperfect example of ecological civilization construction in Guangzhou city. The park is dividedinto ten functional areas, by analyzing the transformation of the landscape topography,vegetation, water and other elements, the design methods of the dead trees, road and pollutedwater is proposed.
