The urban ecological green system is the core of urban ecological environment construction, determine the ecological benefits of urban green space with integrated functions can be fully and effectively play, In the construction of urban ecological environment, urban ecological green system construction research to improve the quality of urban ecological environment and achieve sustainable development of the city plays an irreplaceable role. Establishment and evaluation index system of green, is the premise and basis of urban ecological green system construction, system construction of urban ecological green space has important theoretical and practical significance.The evaluation of Urban Green System based on artificial or statistical estimation certain has some limitations, therefore, in this research, we extracted Jinan Green information with high accuracy from High-resolution SPOT remote sensing image by RS and GIS technology, and using relevant theories constructing with urban ecology and urban ecological green system, we finally acquired the classification map of Jinan Green System. Then we constructed the evaluation index evaluation system in Jinan urban green space system by selecting13important evaluation indexes from the ecological functions, landscape pattern and planning targets three aspects. The index weight were calculated by using AHP and1-9scale method, on this basis, quantify calculation and evaluation were carried out, results showed that green system construction in Jinan is in grade III, and the urban green space system construction level is low, therefore we proposed an optimization strategy in constructing the Jinan City Green System. Using the theory of urban ecological green system, following with the inside out, from near and far living environment and build idea, we presented bedroom, community, the central city, suburb, suburban five ecological function circles in Jinan City, and built its greening projects, finally formed a new pattern in Jinan ecological green system construction.The results showed that:(1) Visual interpreted the remote sensing images in ArcGIS, the results showed that the plaque types ofJinan City Green System are complete; the amount of protective green and attached green patches are large but only have a few proportion of the total area, means the fragmentation degree is large; parks mainly in large patches dominate the urban green space types; and this system is lack of produce Green, accounting for only0.55%of the total land area.(2) Evaluated and calculated the comprehensive evaluation value of Jinan urban green space system from ecological functions, landscape pattern and planning targets. Results showed that the comprehensive evaluation value is0.4867, the green system construction grade is Ⅲ, and the construction level is low; the carbon fixation and oxygen release capacity and dust removal capability of urban green space are low, plants don’t play ecological functions effectively; the amount of green is insufficient, green space and public green area per capita do not meet the requirements; the fragmentation and separation degree of landscape is high, landscape dominance is not obvious.(3) On the basis of comprehensive evaluation of urban green space system, based on the construction theory of urban ecological green system, followed the from the inside out, from near and far idea presented bedroom, community, the city center, suburb, suburban five ecological function circle and built its greening projects in Jinan City, and then formed a new model in Jinan ecological green system construction.
