Building-basement anti-floating issues become increasingly prominent with the rapiddevelopment of underground space development. Inappropriate anti-floating measures hadresulted in a large number of coastal areas and along river building floating, tilting andcollapse accident. That anti-floating fortified water level is too high will cause the waste ofinvestment. So the work to carry out research on the underground structure of anti-floatingmeasures has important scientific significance. The research results for a guide to optimizethe anti-floating design, to reduce the unnecessary financial and material inputs and to ensureconstruction safe and reliable has important engineering significance and broad applicationprospects.Existing engineering applications and research status of anti-floating measures iscollected and summarized. All the of anti-floating anchors, anti-floating with heavy andanti-floating piles are to increase anti-floating safety factor from the point of view of theincrease in anti-buoyancy, excepting drainage decompression anti-floating technology. It’s toincrease anti-floating safety factor from the point of view of reducing water buoyancy.Drainage and decompression anti-floating technology can effectively reduce the input ofengineering materials, shorten the construction period, and has a wide application prospects.Based on seepage seep/w module of two-dimensional geotechnical engineering finite elementanalysis software Geostudio and Midas/GTS, the analysis of two-dimensional seepage flowand settlement for the basement drainage decompression anti-floating technology is done.Substrate decompression anti-floating technical for practical engineering is also simulatedand validated. The results demonstrate that the core of substrate decompressionanti-floating technology is evenly to arrange a certain amount of seepage paths on the baseplate to eliminate the role of water pressure in the building, while taking advantage of acertain thickness of the smaller permeability coefficient aquifers and disconnect the watercurtain forming an effective confining layer, effectively to reduce the actual water flux, inorder to avoid a big impact on the surrounding environment. The fact that anti-floating maincontrol influencing factors is the thickness and permeability of aquifers is revealed. A controldisplacement fitting formula is given by non-linear regression analysis on the calculate data. Numerical simulation analysis on different permeability soil shows that taking substratedecompression anti-floating measures on low permeable like silty clay soil and clay soil caneffectively control the surrounding groundwater and land subsidence, except highpermeability foundation like sand soil, while the foundation with artificial setting lowpermeability coefficient of aquifers can also control the impact on the surroundingenvironment.
