Hydraulic excavator is a kind of commonly used construction machinery. It’s function is crushing, mining and loading in civil engineering. Hydraulic excavator is very heavy. And in the process of work Hydraulic excavator need to bear a lot of external force. The quality of weld structure directly affects the working life of excavator. The structure of hydraulic excavator is very complex, and the weld structure need a high precision of coupled system. but the structure will have welding deformation in the welding process, lead to can’t take the next step of machining, assembly. Affect the normal production schedule. Or make interference between the parts after the parts have been assemblyed. Lead to the excavator’s quality problem. And damage the enterprise’s brand and reputation. Bring incalculable great loss to enterprise.The study object of this article is a frame of hydraulic excavator. Most of the electrical appliances, pipe of the excavator are installed in the frame. The frame need to cooperate with track frame, and it’s self is a rotary frame. The quality of welding deformation’s control is closely related to the product quality.This article studies the welding deformation of excavator, and have the below conclusions:(1)The excavator structure craft of welding. And the reason of welding deformation. Put forward the method for control welding deformation. Put forward the correction for the structure which the weld deformation made the structure out of use.(2)According to the structure of the frame, we establish the simulation model. At the same time, in order to improve the computational efficiency of simulation model, we simplified the simulation model. According to the actual welding we select the heat source model and set the material properties and boundary conditions. Assume five different weld sequence. After the analysis of simulation of welding deformation, we test the result.(3)The welding deformation of frame we use flame correction. The points for attention during the flame correction, parameter selection, cooling and heating position were studied and discussed.
