Welding is one of the four technologies in vehicle production, and welding deformation is universal. This paper takes the welding joints in bus body framework as the research objects, and studies the influence law of welding parameters on welding deformation, so as to provide reference for process optimization.Firstly, in this research, a representative T-joint is extracted as the basic unit to study the angular deformation in two directions of the girder and spar of the T-joint. By controlling variable method, the studies about different welding sequences, different welding current and different weld gap are conducted, and the influence law of single parameter variation on the welding joint deformation is analyzed.Afterwards, the shape of the specimen is determined, and the measurement data is selected. Due to the difficulty in directly measuring the spar deformation of the T-joint, secondary spar for measuring is added to the specimen so that the specimen is designed as a cruciform. Considering that the deflection can be easily measured and can reflect the influence law of the parameter variation on angular deformation, the deflection is selected as the measurement data to study the angular deformation.The welding schemes and measuring method are made and are verified by test-weld specimen. According to deformation of the test-weld specimen, the size of the specimen is determined. Aiming at the problem of big data fluctuation in spar deformation while test welding, three improvement measurements are adopted so that the data fluctuation range can be effectively controlled, including being clear on the welding direction of the welding line, finishing the welding ends of the spar, and designing the specimen fixture to guarantee the evenness of the welding lines.Test tools are prepared. A set of four-point isometric symmetric deflection test tools is designed and processed. The four locating places of the specimen correspond to measuring the angular deformation in four directions. Mutual verification can be done among the data. Steel balls are used for location, so as to clear the influence of the surface roughness of the specimen.Finally, welding, measurement and data analysis are studied. Intragroup volatility analysis and intergroup comparison of the measurement data are conducted. The influence law of welding parameters on four angular deformation is obtained.
