Gas lubrication is used to replace the traditional oil, grease lubrication, lubricationsystem using lubrication gas into the support gap formation gas film with a certaincapacity, since there is no direct contact between the gas film lubrication, the surface ofthe liquid gas lubricated bearing, sliding bearing and rolling bearing compared with thetraditional, has the characteristics of speed high, small vibration and noise, high precision,high temperature resistant, small friction, friction and low power consumption, clean andlong service life, working in harsh environment.In this paper, the slit orifice radial hydrostatic bearing was studied with CFD(Computational Fluent Dynamics) software for fluid flow field simulation of theaerostatic bearing, CFD, computational fluid dynamics, which is a branch of fluidmechanics, CFD is such a technology, the system mainly use the computer to the fluidflow, heat transfer, combustion related physical phenomena simulation.Firstly, this paper established by3D modeling software to slot restrictor externallypressurized gas bearing physical model, and then establish the model into the CFDPretreatment Software Gambit for grid division, boundary conditions and so on, in thecourse of calculation, using Fluent software solver, using two dielectric upwind schemeis used to simulate the model, setting the gas in the bearing gap flow is laminar flow state,analysis of the basic theory of slot restrictor externally pressurized gas bearing, andbearing the characteristics of slit orifice radial aerostatic bearing with orifice radial staticpressure bearing capacity, stiffness and comparison of consumption, it is superior to slitrestrictor orifice restrictor.After, we studied the design of bearings restrictor slit structure slot restrictor externally pressurized gas, the throttle axial and circumferential slot structure on bearingcharacteristics of bearing capacity, stiffness and the gas consumption, throttle continuitythat continuous joint effect of throttling on bearing characteristics of continuous sutureand non, derived from the slit restrictor as circumferential discontinuous slit is ideal; andfrom the design parameters of the bearing (L/D bearing length to diameter ratio,eccentricity epsilon, gas film thickness h, slit, slit width H, slit depth y and slit number)were analyzed, respectively to analyze the influence of stiffness and consumption gasbearing design parameters on bearing load capacity, characteristic, and draws some rules,has the reality guiding significance for the design of slit restriction aerostatic bearings.
