Recent years,T-stub connection joints of steel structure are widely used in steelfield with its good carrying capacity, seismic performance,economic cost, quicklyconstruction and easy installation,etc. and scholars at home and abroad to study one of agrowing number of beam-column connection joints.Experimental study and ANSYS finite element numerical simulation analysis forthe T-stub connection node, considering the flange plate thickness of T-stub, boltdiameter and bolt layout structure parameters influenced on its mechanical properties,the main contents include:1、This paper, making10specimens of the full-scale model on the test researchunder the action of static loads is one-way, observation the damage form of allspecimens, limit load, bolt tension etc, to get the load-displacement curve, at the sametime, get the experimental data of strain distribution on T-stub flange plate and the bolt.The experimental results showed that: T-stub connection joints of beam-column insteel structure with good bearing capacity and deformation ability, reflects theperformance of semi-rigid nodes;Changing the flange plate thickness of T-stub and boltdiameter has a great influence on the mechanical properties of the specimens, with theimprovement of flange plate thickness, can significantly increase the bearing capacity ofjoints, lower bolt tension, make its failure pattern by the flange plate destruction to bolt;With the increase of the bolt diameter, bearing capacity and bolt tension weresignificantly improved, failure pattern from flange plate destruction to the bolt damage;Changing the bolt layout structure parameters influence on the bearing capacity andfailure pattern is not significant.2、Using ANSYS software analysis its mechanical properties under unidirectionalstatic loading, such as failure pattern, ultimate bearing capacity, bolt tensile, pry forceand stress development,etc.The results show that: Experimental study and finite elementsimulation results have good consistency; changes the flange plate thickness of T-stuband bolt diameter has a great influence on the mechanical properties of the specimens, with the improvement of flange plate thickness, can significantly increase the bearingcapacity and stiffness of joint, Enhance its ability to resist deformation, reduce theinfluence of the pry force, and effectively improve the mechanical properties of the joint;And increasing the bolt diameter, although it can improve the bearing capacity, but pryforce increase, adverse to the bolt stress;With the increasing of the distance to the edgeof web to the center of the bolt, the bearing capacity is reduced, prying force enhanced,and change the bolt decorate other sizes have small effect on its mechanical properties.
