Lithium battery with a large capacity, small size, long life, no memory effect, lowself-discharge, green and so on. Lithium batteries as a new green energy has been widelyused, and regarded universally as the ideal power source for electric vehicles in the world.With the widespread using of lithium batteries, the management technology defects oflithium batteries are also increasingly apparent, such as lithium batteries can’t beimplemented to monitor the state of security, the user can not fault analysis and diagnosis,in security and lifecycle management.Electric vehicle lithium batteries management system based on smart phone, referredas the SPLBMS system hereinafter, is able to monitor the state of lithium battery,combined with Bluetooth technology, and the information is sent to the mobile phonebattery intelligent management terminal or remote application management, real-timemonitoring and management and ultimately help users achieve lithium battery. The systemadopts the three layer architecture model of Internet of things, perception layer, networklayer and application layer. Perception layer is responsible for monitoring the status oflithium batteries, collecting the data of batteries, including the hardware and softwaredesign of lithium battery protection board and the low frequency wakeup. The networklayer uses Bluetooth protocol data transmission. Application layer, realizes the lithiumintelligent monitoring management functions. SPLBMS system is a research cooperativeproject of Soochow University and a Electric Bicycle Co., using smart phone andBluetooth communication technology, realized lithium battery protections, life cyclemanagement, fault analysis diagnosis functions and so on.
