The Application Of ’modular Systm’in Reconstruction And Extension Of Middle Schools In Dai National Minority Area A Case In Xishuangbanna, Yunan,China

Within the acceleration and expansion of urbanization in our country, the educational constructions in Xishuangbanna need massive alternation and expansion. How to design for keeping up with the fast expansion as well as to ensure the construction’s designing safety has been a problem for designing institutes. The author finds that the module designing concept could solve the problem through practice, however, research on the module designing concept for educational constructions of locality is scarce currently, which validates the importance of the author’s efforts.This thesis firstly introduces some researches on middle school’s module designing by previous designer, then a foundation is set to use module designing for Banna area’s middle schools’ buildings after some investigation and researches on Xishuangbanna’s local buildings together with some local middle schools. The author makes analysis and researches on module designing for different functions of middle schools’ buildings through studying module designing’s concepts, analyzing some relevant module designing samples and conclusions from initial collected information. The author designs different modules and makes some compounds among them.In the end, the thesis exemplifies Menghan County Middle School’s planning and buildings’ designing in Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna to a deeper discussion for using the module designing method to design Xishuangbanna area’s middle school’s buildings. The thesis includes the final design plan, the plan embodies the advantages of module designing method, which are diversity and reproductivity and adaptability to different environments.
