The technique of ultrasonic testing is applied more widely, in fluid measurement andmedical tests, and it has a unique advantages. The advantages of ultrasonic that don’t destroythe fluid flow field, has no pressure loss and no direct contact with fluid in flow measurement.At present, the ultrasonic doppler technology has become an important means of flowmeasurement. However in two phase flow measurement, there are still many technicalproblems. In this paper, the main researches include:In the aspect of theories, this paper discusses the principle of doppler and use the dopplerprinciple in flow measurement, and it analyzes the temperature, attenuation factors, and so on,for doppler flowmeter measurement. On this basis, this paper researches the materialcharacteristics and the performance index of doppler ultrasonic transducer, and that designs thestructure of transducers, and it products the ultrasonic transducers that is suitable for thedoppler flowmeter system.This paper completes some hardware circuit designs, which include design the matchingdriver circuit according to the performance parameters of the transducers, and adds thehardware circuit which is measure the working environment temperature of ultrasonictransducers. The measurement results are used to temperature compensation, this paper alsodesigns the ultrasonic receiving circuit with the function of automatic gain control, providing agood signal for subsequent circuit. Through these methods, further improve the practicality,the stability and the accuracy of the ultrasonic flowmeter.
