ABSTRACT:With the expansion of Chinese high-speed railway network, there are more and more long distance transportation products. In order to meet the demand of increasing traffic and improve market competitiveness, the need of the operation of night train on high-speed railway is becoming more and more urgent. Scheduling of EMU is the key link in the process of passenger transport organization of high-speed railway, directly related to the economic benefit, the running safety of trains and the service quality. For a long time, many scholars at home or abroad around the subject has carried out extensive research, but most of the research focused on how to use the day EMU reasonably, so there are few research on reasonable use of night EMU. Therefore, on the basis of related research on scheduling of EMU, this paper studies on EMU scheduling problem for night train on high-speed railway. The main work and achievements can be summarized as follows:(1) The characteristics of the train plan of night train on high-speed railway is summarized, this four traffic organizations of waiting for the skylight mode, offline mode, nonstop mode and transfer mode are analyzed, and the characteristics of the EMU scheduling problem for night train on high-speed railway are conclude, including centralized management, using single scene, using fixed quantity, using diverse ways, the wide range of time-space and the complex constrains.(2) The concepts of EMU circulation plan for night train on high speed railway and the different ways of EMU scheduling are summarized. The basic elements and influence factors of EMU circulation plan for night train on high speed railway are analyzed. In view of the differences between high speed train and night train on high-speed railway, this paper optimizes theoretical basis of EMU circulation plan for night train on high speed railway and provides theoretical support for the research of preparation methods.(3) This paper put forward to the concept of EMU circulation plan in day and night. On the basis of analyzing the work thoughts, puts forward the strategy of "time breakdown" on EMU circulation plan for night train on high speed railway. The preparation process is divided into two steps:first, compile the day EMU circulation plan, then, compile the whole cycle EMU circulation plan. Then, on the basis of breaking the existing EMU management model, build the optimization model and design the solution method. Based on the level2maintenance repairing time limit, set up a reasonable number of days, build the optimization model and design a simulated annealing(SA) algorithm based on single exchange. Finally, study on the example analysis verifies the effectiveness of the methods that are came from this paper.
