Load condition of mechanical structure has a direct impact on damage and life. Load spectrum is the foundation of establishing reliability test standard of structure and design specification. Shenhua railway exposed a lot of problems in the near future. Crack damage rate of Shenhua truck parts is higher than the national railway. Truck bogie, as the main bearing parts, wherein the bolster and side frame delivers a variety of vertical, transverse and longitudinal alternating load in the operation process. Bolster and side frame are important components which require higher fatigue reliability. At the same time, unbanlanced load, wheel polygonization and overloading of vehicles will make the bogie bearing change greatly, this extension would accelerate fatigue crack, resulting in fatigue failure. Study on the fatigue reliability of bogie bolster and side frame and the load spectrum establishment of bogie bolster and side frame has important significance.Establishment and calibration of load spectrum is based on large amount of data. First is the FEMA of bogie bolster and side frame to find out the weak parts. Then is load analysis of weak parts for finding the load which has the greatest influence on the fatigue weak position and the main load-stress coefficient.Based on the measuring load data, analysizing the bolster and side frame load characteristics in coal loading, unloading, uphill and downhill, curve and vehicle starting, braking and acceleration, deceleration, uniform condition. Combined with the power spectrum density, analysizing the main frequency and the causes. Then Establish mutual power spectrum of center plate load, bolster load,side frame load and adapter load to find out the load transfer and get the relationship and degree of correlation.According to the method of varying mean, establish the sample load spectrum and find out the main influence on load spectrum.Compiling spectrum of the stress time history and calculating the damage. Compiling load spectrum of the measured load time history and then with the FEMA load stress coefficient calculating the damage after tranferring the load spectrum into stress spectrum.Analyzing the damage calculated from the measured stress spectrum and load spectrum. According to the specific geometry and detailed structure of the measured point, simulating the actual geometry of the key parts with local mesh refinement, recalculating the load stress coefficient. According to the principle of damage consistency calibration, calibrating the measured load spectrum.
