In this paper, in view of the traditional motor control system by way of analogcontrol which flexibility insufficient, response lag, lack accuracy, as well as the problem such aszero drift. We puts forward the scheme of servo motor multi-axis linkage control by means ofcommunication. Currently, communication methods of automation control in industry mainlyhas RS-485bus, CAN fieldbus and industrial Ethernetbus communications. RS-485bus is a serialbus earliest and most widely used in the field of national in instruments meters and automaticcontrol. CAN fieldbus is the world’s most extensive and popular industrial field bus, which is alocal area network that supports serial communications distributed real-time control, because ofits simple structure, convenient networking, high performance, reliability high, cost-effectivethat widely used in automotive and industrial areas. Industrial Ethernet is a unit of a strongregional network based on the IEEE802.3(Ethernet), technically mature and can connect withthe internet have been widely used. But its structure is more complicated and more expensive, soit is not suitable for all automation equipment. The issue with the background of facerapplications in industrial, then research on multi-axis control scheme RS-485bus and CANfieldbus communication.In this paper, we design three distributed multi-axis control schemes. The first scenario istouch screen direct control of multi-axis servo drive multi-axis linkage system solutions based onthe RS-485bus communication; Second scenario is multi-axis linkage control system solutionsbased on CAN bus communication; Third scenario is multi-axis linkage control system solutionsbased on the CAN bus and multi-axis RS-485bus communication.First, this paper introduces the multi-axis control technology and development status, trends.Explains the basic mathematical model of servo motor drive system, and introduce the modernmotor control technology field oriented vector control technology and space vector modulationprinciple.Secondly, the three multi-axis control program was designed specifically in the hardwaresection: description of the program design process, the design of hardware constitutes three programs, to build an experimental platform for the three programs, and narrative threecommunication methods and protocols used by each program. Software components: designedthree options a touch screen software interface and configuration of the relevant parameters,thennarrative the software design should pay attention to the problem and subroutines design diagrammain program for PLC program.Finally, this paper carried out the experiment analysis in the three multiple control modes ofdesigned scheme, proposed three options for programming and debugging optimized viewscombination process.The results shows that touch screen direct control of multi-axis servo drive multi-axislinkage system solutions based on the RS-485bus communication, because it obviates the middleof the PLC links to improve the reliability and simplicity of the system, thereby reducing theoverall system cost. But this program scheme control mode single and requires a drive withsingle-axis positioning function, therefore suitable for simple position control applicationsMulti-axis linkage control system solutions based on CANfiledbus communication show that thecontrol system is simple, flexible, stable performance, responsive control, can achieve a varietyof modes and operating, is a kind of industrial automation solution suitable for high-end CNCequipment for multi-motor drives. Multi-axis linkage control system solutions based on the CANbus and multi-axis RS-485bus communication. The control system takes advantages of simple,flexible, stable performance, simple touch-screen programming, communications protocolssimple compared to the CAN bus, is a low-cost high-performance multi-motor driven industrialautomation solutions.
