The Research On Spa Club Design Dominated By Hot Springs Health

Spa club, as a new type of leisure and entertainment building, has the function of entertainment, fitness, recreation and leisure. With the improvement of material life, people’s health consciousness has been growing. Hot springs health, which combines spa and leisure/relaxation, is a new realm in the development of hot springs, and it is part of the culture of Chinese health care. As we are pursuing of the psychological quality, the research of spa club architectural design has the practical significance. Based on the related theory of health regime, this subject research has explored the design method of spa club. Mainly started from the behaviors of tourists, this essay discussed people’s material and spiritual requirements about the spa club, the influence of these requirements to spa club architectural design, summarized the basic principles of spa club which focus on health regime, and tried to build the theoretical framework which could guide spa club architectural design.This subject research tried to analyze the related instances, study the layout, the environment construction and the related size of spa club space, and combine the human experience of space with human behavior and psychological needs, sum up reasonable system data of hot spring health club such as streamline organization, the necessary norm requirements, functional design, and spatial relationship. Hopefully this subject research can provide detailed basis and reference data for future architecture design of the spa club.
