| With the rapid development of construction industry in our country, construction wasteis becoming a thorny problem. The siege of construction waste, by which the greatenvironmental pollution is caused, is a serious situation. According to researches at home andabroad, this problem can be effectively solved by recycled concrete which can be applied toactual engineering by using reasonable aggregate processing measures and suitable mixtureratio. With the development of high-rise and super high-rise buildings, the combined structureis used by more and more people. The reinforced concrete column filled with steel tube is anew kind of composite structure model. The application prospect of the reinforced concretecolumn filled with steel tube is very good because of its high bearing capacity, good ductilityand convenient construction. The mixture ratios of two different intensive recycled concrete, C40and C60, werefirstly designed in this article. Another main work is that the compressed properties ofreinforced concrete column filled with steel tube were studied through experiments. Besides, the recycled concrete was applied in reinforced concrete column filled with steel tube toexamine the feasibility of the application. The main research contents and conclusions were asfollows:(1) The performance differences of recycled coarse aggregate and natural coarseaggregate were studied, which indicated that the concrete, meeting the requirements, could beprepared successfully by using recycled coarse aggregate.(2) The strength differences between recycled concrete and natural concrete were quitenear. However, the MOE of recycled concrete was lower than that of natural concrete and thebiggest drop close to10%.(3) The axial compression experiment of reinforced concrete column filled with steeltube was carried out. The load-displacement data and different materials’ load-strain datawere recorded by observing failure process.(4) In the axial compression experiment, the stress characteristics and failure process ofreinforced recycled concrete column filled with steel tube and reinforced natural concretecolumn filled with steel tube were similar, which indicated the recycled concrete could beapplied to this structure.(5) The four calculation formulas of reinforced concrete column filled with steel tube’saxial compression bearing capacity were compared. The calculating results and test resultswere relatively closer. These calculation methods could be also suitable for reinforcedrecycled concrete column filled with steel tube. |
