The spatial reticulated shell structures become more popular in nowadays, so it is in dire need of an effectual anti-earthquake measurement to control the vibration of reticulated shell structures. An anti-earthquake measurement called replaced damping-poles method is a valid way. It reduces the seismic response of structure by adding the damping and dissipating the vibration energy of the structure. Because this devise is effectual simply and the components are cheap, the replaced damping-poles has a broad application foreground. Because of the particularity of the reticulated shell structures fixed with replaced damping-poles and the faultiness of the study about this filed, it is necessary to give plenty numerical simulation of replaced damping-poles in sphere reticulated shell.In this paper, the location of the controller is discussed with an optimal rule. In the seismic response spectrum analysis method, the member whose section area is the most sensitive to the natural frequency of vibration is selected as the position to locate the controller. The controller is finally located on the member with the maximum sensitivity by comparing different members’ sensitivity to various frequencies. In the theory of sensitivity analysis, a research is done on the method of perturbation on isolated eigenvalue and an optimal program is developed based on this theory.An analysis on the parameters of the structure control is also made. Several parameters are discussed on the Double-layer Lattice Spherical Shells and Damping Poles by the control method of Replaced Damping Poles. In this paper, the effects of damping ratio, stiffness and amplitude of seismic acceleration of damping poles on the control are studied. By optimizing the arrangement of the poles, fewer poles can be applied on the basis of the stability of structures by replacing the poles. Therefore, such optimization is economical and is valuable for engineering.
