Along with the progress of the society and the rapid development of mordern industry, energy and environment problems get more attention. The pollution casused by automobile exhaust gas has become more and more serious,especially NOx pollution,during these years,the government recognizes the problem and legislates to limit the exhaust emission.Now, all over the world have formulated and implemented a stringent emission regulations, for the internal combustion engine technology have made the increasingly higher requirements.As the main power source of vehicle,the quesetion how to purify NOx emission for diesel engine has become one of the hotsports.In diesel engine’s emission,the NOx emissions approximately composes the total emissions53%,and NOX is one of the main factors formed the light smoke in the ground.Therefore,the control is very important to the NOx.Now,technology of EGR is known as the effective method to punfy NOx emission,which is available for diesel engines.Based on the software of AVLBOOST this article reduced the NOx emissions in view of the Perkins150Ti series turbo.charged cold diesel engine using the EGR system to conduct the simulator study, mainly for the following respects work:(1) EGR is an effective method to reduce NOx emission. But at the lower speed and higher load the mean pressure of exhaust pipe is lower than that of intake pipe,common EGR system can not work effectively. Analyzed the feasibility of using EGR technical in the turbo.charged diesel engine,decided that used the high voltage circuit,which the gas was out before the turbine and in after the air compressor and the cold.(2) In order to make the venturi tube has the smallest pressure drop and minimum energy loss,carries a optimized structural on the throat and mouth section compression angle and enlarge pressers of the venturi tube by the CFD software.Carries on the structure optimization to the venturi tube to select the best tube. For multi.cylinder machines to steady and the transient simulation, the results showed that the intake of each cylinder between an EGR distribution is uniform. (3) Analyzed under the different load and the rotationalspeed different EGR rate to driveability and emission sexual influence. Has carried on the best EGR rate research under various operating modes. Through13modes of the simulation research and experiment, we can see that the increasing gas recirculation system can satisfy four to Europe after NOx and SOOT requirements.
