The vehicle suspension system is a connecting device, which connect body and axles flexibly. The vehicle suspension system is consisted of spring、damper and oriented framework, which absorb shock and vibration from road and improve driving stability and comfort.Nowadays, as the development of the design of suspension parts toward slight weight, the flexible deformations of the suspension parts have been highlighted. In the previous studies, the research of the vehicle suspension parts which are considered as multi-rigid body can’t meet the demand of Automobile performance. Therefore, it is very necessary for people to research the flexible body’ vibration and flexible operation on the vehicle ride comfort. The flexible body’ vibration is researched in detail in the paper.Firstly, Expatiated the definition and research contents of suspension Kinematics and Dynamics characters, analyzed the mechanism of suspension Kinematics and Dynamics influence on full vehicle character and introduced simulation methods for the research on suspension Kinematics and Dynamics characters.Secondly, ADAMS、CATIA and Hypermesh are applied to build Double Wishbone suspensions and Five-link suspensions of the multi-rigid body model and rigid-flexible coupling model, and the two suspensions are assembled into full car. The shortcomings of previous full vehicle are improved.Thirdly, Analyzed by comparison the kinematics characters of multi-rigid body and rigid-flexible coupling suspension and expatiated the influence on suspension characters. Some improved solutions are concluded.Fourthly, The Shortcomings of suspensions are optimized by sensitivity analysis、DOE and multi-object optimization and expatiated the methods of optimization. Lastly, Analyzed by comparison the Ride Comfort of full vehicle of multi-rigid body model and rigid-flexible coupling model. It is highlighted that the research of flexible body’vibration influence on full vehicle character. The time-frequency responses of vehicle chassis accelerations, suspension dynamic deflection and dynamic tire load etc. are analyzed, by which some conclusions are made. The weighted acceleration RMS of the vehicle seat in time domain is obtained through the weighted acceleration and the Ride Comfort of vehicle is evaluated.
