Space technology is developing rapidly. Research about micro-satellite has be-came one of the most important fields of space technology research. Onboard soft-ware is the nerve center of satellite. And the reliability of the software directly de-termines whether satellite missions can be done successfully or not. Good software development models and standard software development process are the most im-portant factor to ensure high reliability. Therefore, research about those two factors is very important. On the basis of the design and development of ZDPS-1A software and under the background of the development of a new micro-satellite, this thesis fo-cus on the foundation of a new software developing model which is used for mi-cro-satellite software development, studies the software engineering implementation process. Also accomplish software implementation for Composite Electronic System (CES) of the new satellite under the direction of the proposed model.First, this article studies about traditional software models, and then proposed a new software development model for satellite which best suits the unique characte-ristic of high reliability requirement and the unique operating environment of mi-cro-satellite. This new model not only has the feature of waterfall model which strictly regulates the process to ensure high reliability of overall architecture of the software, but also has the advantage of incremental model of fast developing. The article also divided software engineering implementation process into several stages and regulated what tasks should been done during each stage.Second, the paper completed the software engineering implementation of CES which based on the proposed model, including the following work:designed and im-plemented telemetry and Tele-control solutions based on subsystems’requirements. Analyzed the existing designs and solutions, modified and improved those problem ones. Conducted a series of experiments. Finally, the software has experienced so-phisticated experiment and high temperature cycling experiment, results show that the software can run500hours without failure,and can run at the temperature range of-30℃癈to70℃. Also the software has been migrated to a calibration balloon and ran well and stable throughout the flight of the balloon.In summary, this paper designed a software development model for mi-cro-satellite, and then completed software engineering implementation for CES soft-ware of a new satellite. The successful completion of the CES software demonstrates the rationality of the proposed model. This model can be used for direction and guid-ance of new satellite software development.
