As a clean and renewable energy, wind energy has attracted more and more attention, promoting the rapid development of wind power generation technology. Due to the limitation of overhead working environment, high power and high stability become the development trend of wind turbines. As the high failure rate key components of system, to study dynamic characteristics and dynamic optimization of wind power speed-increasing gearbox is of great significance to improve the stability.Take NW wind power speed-increasing gearbox as the research object, Conduct the load transmitting characteristic research of wind turbine transmission system under random wind speed. Then basing on system dynamics theory, study the influence of the external incentives for the dynamic response of wind turbine gearbox transmission system. Application of gear system dynamics, finite element method and vibration test experiment to conduct the inherent characteristics analysis. The specific research work is as follow:(1) Use the linear filtering method of AR model to build the random wind speed time series model which is taken as the time-varying external incentive of the wind turbine transmission system. Basing on the power regulation principle of wind turbine, establish rigid and flexible transmission system model to research the load transmitting characteristic of wind turbine transmission system under random wind speed. Results provide load data for the research of dynamic characteristic of transmission system of wind turbine.(2) Considering the factors of external and internal incentives, based on the lumped parameter method and the Newton’s second law to establish the bend-twist-axis coupled nonlinear dynamics model of the NW gear transmission system. Use matlab to solve the system dynamic equations under two kinds of working conditions which are time-varying external load and constant external, to get the dynamic response of gear transmission system.(3) Based on the bend-twist-axis coupled nonlinear dynamics model of the NW gear transmission system, establish the undamped free vibration system dynamics equation to research the inherent characteristics of gear transmission system. Based on the finite element method, use Romax software to conduct the mode simulation analysis of gearbox system. Make a contrast analysis of the natural frequency and vibration mode between the two kinds of calculation methods which are theory method and finite element simulation method. (4) Based on the operation modal analysis method (OMA), text the mode characteristics of wind power speed-increasing gearbox system to obtain the system natural frequency parameter identification results under various load conditions, then compared with the results get from the theoretical method and finite element method analysis. Meanwhile, according to the experimental data of vibration acceleration, conduct the time domain and frequency domain analysis of system to research the composition of the system incentive frequency.
