With the accelerating pace of urbanization and global warming, urbanwaterlogging and its damage degrees are increasing. However, many problems areexisted in the current unban drainage system, such as infrastructure construction andoperation management, which result in the deficiency in cities’ flood prevention, earlywarning and risk assessment. In order to solve this problem, this paper, based on theSWMM model of software, is used to make the waterlogging prediction, riskassessment and drainage system evaluation of the waterlogging place. Moreover, Iwill set the waterlogging model based on the characteristics of the urban waterloggingplace.The content and emphases of the paper are summarized as follows:1、 This thesis analyzes the structural characteristics of the urban waterloggingplace, including its terrain, surface features and the drainage system. Besides, itdefines the overall structure of the model according to the functional requirements ofits waterlogging model. In the framework of the overall structure, it studys thewaterlogging model in the method of calculating the different constraint conditions.2、It focuses on the generalized technology for each waterlogging place: drainageunit generalization, drainage network topology optimization, sub divided catchmentarea.3、This paper regards the undercrossing grade separation as the modeling object,and it defines the model parameter object.This thesis analyzes and categorizes thecontent and resources of the modeling parameter objects. Data of the modelingparameter objects can be divided into two categories: deterministic date and empiricaldata.4、This paper establishes waterlogging model by considering the undercrossinggrade separation as an example. It analyzes the conditions of the drainage systemunder different rainfall intensity, considering the node overflow, the number ofoverloading pipeline and the water logging situation on the surface as the performanceevaluation index of the drainage system. We can recognize that the drainage systemmeets “bottleneck” by the simulation results. We can increase the pipe size and adddrainage pumping station to solve the problem. Experimental results show that the model can be used to simulate the waterlogging place of pipeline network of flowsituation, it has a certain guiding significance for the modification of the pipelinenetwork.
