With the valley difference grid load increases year by year, nuclear power plant (NPP)continuous connected to the grid, large-scale development and utilization of wind, solar andother new energy sources, the gird of thermal power as the main peak load regulation peakload pressure even more grim, the demand for NPP participating in peak load regulation isgrowing. The technical requirements on NPP participating in peak load regulation of powergrid and the optimization strategies on combined peak load operation of variety of powersupply, which is the direction of development for NPP technology participating in gridoperation in the future.View of the above problems, in this paper, NPP participating in peak load regulation asthe center, study the combined operation strategies of hydropower, thermal power, nuclearpower, wind power, solar power, energy storage power plants and pumped storage powerstation. Firstly, according to the operating characteristics of various types of peaking power,set up the mathematical model, analysis the anti peak load regulation characteristics of windpower and solar power. Secondly, for the combined peak load regulation of hydropower,thermal power and NPP, set up operation model with the lowest operating costs goal in thescheduling period, on this basis, study the combined peak load regulation of variety power, setup the multi-stage dynamic optimization model for combined peak load regulation. Finally,proposed algorithm for combined peak load regulation of multiple power based on ant colonyalgorithm, and verified the effectiveness for solving the optimization model and the algorithmby a numerical example. Through the combined peak load regulation optimizing operation ofNPP and other peak power, effective solution to the shortage of grid valley peak regulationcapacity problems, and which has a positive effect for thermal power climbing and windpower, photovoltaic power accepted.Liaoning power grid as an example in this paper, analysis the strategies of HongyanheNPP peak load regulation, and using the above optimization method, get on optimizedcomputing of combined peak load regulation for the mid-heating of grid, the optimizationresults show that NPP participating in peak load regulation have a positive effect for valleyload balancing, thermal power climbing and valley acceotance of wind power.
