Experimental study and theoretical research on seismic behavior of semi-rigidconcrete filled steel tubular (CFST) composite joints in this paper. The mainachievements were summarized in detail as follows:(1) A series of experimental studies on two specimens of semi-rigid CFSTframes infilled with floor subjected to dynamic loading have been done. Themain parameter was endplate types. The hysteretic curves, failure pattern,displacement time history response curves, acceleration time history responsecurves, energy response curves, dynamic amplification factors, damping ratio,strength and stiffness degradation curves, energy dissipation capacity wereanalyzed and evaluated to analyze the structural seismic behavior.(2) The analytical models of semi-rigid CFST composite joints under staticloading were developed by finite element analysis (FEA) software ABAQUS. Itis verified that the modes are correct compared with the test results. Thenonlinear analysis of semi-rigid CFST composite joints under static loading wasused, and the stress distribution of the components was discussed.(3) The theoretical analysis of semi-rigid CFST composite joints under staticloading was developed by software ABAQUS. The main factors such as materialparameters, geometric parameters and load parameters were analyzed. The mainparameters and the effect rule of load-displacement relation were determined.(4) The theoretical analysis of semi-rigid CFST composite joints under cyclicloading was developed by software ABAQUS. It is verified that the modes arecorrect compared with the test results. The parameters about hystereticperformance were analyzed.
