The Investigation Into Method Of Project Design Of60ft Level Luxury Yachts

In this paper, by the investigation into method of project design of60ft level luxury yachts, the method to determine the main dimensions, to estimate the main engine power, to design the shaped lines, to analysis the hydrodynamic, to design the general arrangement and to design the appearance of this level luxury yachts were summarized and presented during the project design. With a case of65ft luxury yacht, the above parts of this yacht were designed or calculated.This is the structural of this paper:Firstly, the research background, the research significance, the development status at home and abroad, the research status and the main work of this paper were introduced.Secondly, by fitting the main dimensions of the female yachts, this paper gives the methods of determining principal dimensions and estimating the main engine power of60ft level luxury yachts in the initial design. By analyzing the relationship between main dimensions and main engine power, the formula to estimate the main engine power proposed. The main engine power of65ft luxury yacht was calculated, and the accuracy of this formula was validated by the Daisumi Mihiro’s method.Then, in the third chapter, the shaped line features of luxury yachts were introduced, including bilge shape, knuckle line shape, cross-sectional shape, ramp angle and vertical prismatic ribs. The methods of determining these features were given. The shaped lines of65ft luxury yacht were designed. In the fourth chapter, the methods of analyzing the hydrodynamic performance were given, specifically including fast performance, longitudinal stability and shock pressure of waves. The hydrodynamic performance of65ft luxury yacht were analyzed.After that, the general principles of compartment and arrangement were introduced and the compartment and arrangement of65ft luxury yacht were designed. The general arrangement drawing was given. In addition, the fire and rescue drawing and mooring, railings and handrails arrangement drawing were given.Finally, the features of60ft level luxury yachts’appearance were analyzed. Considering the shaped line drawing and general arrangement drawing, the appearance’s features of65ft luxury yacht were designed and introduced. By using the Rhino software, the3D model of this yacht was built. By using the Keyshot software, the impression drawing was made.
