Development Research On Computer Aided Design Of GRP Yacht's Lines

As a kind of high-ranking and durable consume goods used for entertainment on water, yacht are sweeping into the Chinese market rapidly; therefore, the industry has gained unprecedented development. In this context, the prospect and present situation of yacht development was introduced first. Then I analyzed the lament question in the production and design of domestic yacht. Moreover, I also elaborated the development of CAD/CAM as well as its application situation in the design of ship, and analyzed the potential problem in the development of CAD/CAM of domestic yacht, discussed about design method of yacht, so as to provide principle basis. Furthermore, it came to the design of the hull lines,recommending some common design methods of lines, studying B-spline theory as well as its application in the design of the hull lines. And we delve into work out control point by given points question of NonUniform B-spline, which was applied into mould plate of systematic lines design. Ultimately, aiming at the question being in the yacht design and CAD/CAM development, integrated with the design character of yacht as well as customer requirement, exploiting Visual C++ 6.0 as developing tools, served by Pro/E and Microsoft Access as sustained software of graph and database support, we could exploit a king of design system of yacht suited to medium-sized or minim-sized enterprises even the individual. It mainly includes Main Dimension demonstration, lines design, result display of table of offsets, marine hydrostatic calculation and stability calculation, as well as estimation of resistance,functional mould plate of dimensional model plate and so on. And we put forward to functional calculation method based on dimensional entity model. At the same time, we construct database of parent ship,including table of offsets,main factor of shipping, results of hydrostatic calculation,the result of tank resistance experiment, meeting the service of database interview, and storage, researching the exploited technology of Pro/engineer which was applied into the design of yacht.
