With fast development of rail transit, some large and medium-sized cities in China take subway as the first scheme in order to relievethe heavy traffic. As the’central nervous system’of the subway train, network control system is very important for safety traffic, but the network control system used on the subway vehicles in our country depends on foreign manufacturers for long time. In recent years, some domestic enterprises and universities also started the research of network control system, but they mainly focuses on the research of components, relatively few studies in engineering application area of the network control system, which is why the domestic subway vehicles equipt more domestic network components, and equipt less independent network control system.This thesis studies the network control system based on a real subway train project. Firstly, for a variety of domestic and international mainstream network bus are analyzed and determine to adopt the MVB bus based on the IEC61375-1standard. Then the MVB bus transmission medium, frame and packet structure and medium allocation etc are introduced briefly.According to the actual demands of this project, this thesis focuses on the analysis of the topological structure of the network control system, proposes the CCU redundancy and line redundancy from the aspects of system security and reliability, describes the design standards and methods of network control system data flow, designs the process of man-machine interface, discusses the design and realization method of the fault diagnosis system and the subway control functions. Through the research on the above aspects of contents, this thesis designs a complete set of network control system. The network control system successfully completed the laboratory ground test and line test, which shows that the system has reached the design requirements, and has realized the goal of controlling the vehicle by network entirely. Some design methods and project experiences of the project used in the design process can provide valuable reference for other design of subway network control system.
