With the development of modern automotive, energy saving, environmental protection and intelligence have become the main topics of automotive development. More and more Electronic Control Units (ECU) are connected to the vehicle via the bus network. However, great demands are being placed on the real-time and reliability in the communication, which the safety-critical system need, currently, the FlexRay bus, which have the high-bandwidth and high-deterministic, can meet the demand of the system. AUTOSAR provides a unified solution for different architecture platform vehicle, in order to ensure the safety and reliability of vehicle network communication, AUTOSAR provides a unifield standard for the development of the network management system. This article carries on the thorough analysis to the conditions of the network management state transition, the research is base on the improvement and implementation of FlexRay network management mechanism which under the AUTOSAR specification, and provides the support technology for high-performance AUTOSAR network management system.Firstly, this paper introduces the research background of AUTOSAR network management in FlexRay and the relevant technical theory; Secondly, for the lack of fault handling inside Ready Sleep State and new node joining in AUTOSAR network management, research node status transition conditions, the paper improved the management mechanism of AUTOSAR network though adding fault detection mechanism and transmission flag in RepeatMessage. Thirdly, FlexRay network node is built by MC9S12XF512and TJA1080, then the global cluster parameters and node parameters is configured by setting the relevant registers, on that basis, the programs are designed to satisfy the communication requirements of FlexRay network management, which are used for network management, transmission and reception. Finally, using FlexRay network management of semi physical simulation experiment system, which is constructed by DaVinci and CANoe software, to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the improved network management mechanism.
