Research And Design Of Smart Home System Based On Android Platform

With the development of science technology, the standard of people’s life alsogradually improved. In the meanwhile, we have more requires for the home environment.Smart home is one of the progresses of the modern home. It merges wireless sensornetwork technology, automatic control technology and computer technology. With thisnewly-emerging concept, the home devices are not only connected with each other, butalso interact data and communicate. Smart home have come into the people’s life as aconvenient and quick method to manage the home devices.In the article we firstly introduce the background and significance of our researchproject, analyze the research situation and the development trend of Smart Home both inChina and abroad, and we discuss the key technologies in Smart home. With our analysisand research of the Smart Home Control System, specific to the application environmentat home, we propose a solution, based on wireless communication, and it is integratedinto the system. Though the wireless smart gateway devices, the Android mobile terminalcan realize data communication and data interaction. In the paper we propose overallarchitecture design and implementation scheme of the system, and we discuss the flow ofsoftware development in terminal, then we analyze the construction of the database insystem in detail, compared the advantages and disadvantages of all kinds of database,and we bring a simple introduction of the hardware.Finally, in the article we discuss the designing process of each function module inmobile terminal, realize the Smart Home Control System in Android Platform, and wepresents the run results on real machines. With providing friendly interface, easyoperation, feature-rich and stable running performance, the system has a certainpracticality, its structure has certain significance, and it can be solution of the systemdesign for reference.
