Ejection escape system is lifesaving equipment using the ejection power to separate pilotand chair from the crashed aircraft. Simulation of ejection process has important value forresearching the security and reliability of ejection equipment. Currently, common simulationis limited to numerical simulation and dynamics simulation of partial system, the changes ofejection process can’t be seen clearly, for instance, mutative displacement and attitude.Besides, constant ejection experiments also will spend several of resources and time. Visualsimulation technology demonstrated ejection process vividly by driving three-dimensionalmodel to simulate and review the ejection process in the realistic terrain scenes.This paper takes the third-generation ejection escape system as the basic object, designsthe visual simulation software based on the theoretical study and simulation software, such as3DMAX, Unity3D and Visual Studio platform using C#language. Mathematical modelduring the various launch process has been established. It arranges the parameter of thesimulation software, designs interface of various models include conversing mathematicsmodel to language code, selecting simulation scene, reading data, etc. Besides, analyzing theresults of simulation, several factors of key moments point have been obtained. The papercreates a model database include ejection seat model and animation, character models andskeletal animation, aircraft and life-saving parachute models made by3DMAX. Mountainsand ocean scenes build by Unity3D. Using the obtained simulation data to drive the threedimensional model to achieve the visual simulation of working process.The visual simulation of ejection escape lifesaving system could show the workingprocess exactly. It can be repeated and recorded in order to replay the whole process. Thecomplex ejection process has been shown vividly by the visual simulation of ejection escape lifesaving system; it provides an intuitive and effective means for the protective life-savingtechnologies.
