The deep hole machining is an important branch of mechanical processing, which isoriginally used in the national defense industry manufacturing, processing the gunbarrel andgun barrel.With the progress of science and technology, the development of industry, the deephole processing technology has been applied to various machine manufacturing department.Machining of deep hole machining parts is a closed or semi closed state, because of theparticularity of the deep hole processing, making the hole axis deviation problem in theprocess of deep hole processing become difficult to solve, and the hole axis deflectionproblems are impossible to predict and control in the general case. When the hole axisdeviation in deep hole drilling process to a certain degree, it began a sharp change, at this timethe hole axis deviation greatly ultra-poor, so that the workpiece scrapped, or the bit damaged.So it is particularly important to detect if the bit deviate.This theses mainly used the parts in deep hole processing of marine diesel engine as thebackground, then analysing and researching by various methods and technology for deep holemachining at home and abroad.And the deep hole machining parts of marine diesel engine usethe method of real-time monitoring of ultrasonic wall thickness to determine the axialdirection of the deep hole processing and also test the performance on a workpiece. Designeda set of on-line ultrasonic eccentricity detection and inspection system, the system iscomposed of hardware and PC software, which has friendly human-computer interactioninterface, and puts forward the method of wavelet transform to extract the thickness, so thatthe thickness measurement is more precise,and it is easier to extract the thickness value in anoisy environmentThis paper describes the design method of the system in detail, and verfies the indexabout eccentricity on the system performance in texts and the detection distance,obtaining the eccentric distance and the defects of the work piece. Experiments show that, this system hasrealized the real-time online detection of deep hole machining parts.It can carry out thereal-time detection about the trend of deep hole machining parts tool, and the internal defectsof the workpiece.Finally,it achieve a continuous,automated,visualized online detection of deephole processing and the expected goal.And it put forward another available method for thedeep hole processing in the practical scientific research production.
