As an important part of vehicle, transmission has been widely popular with the researchand development industry. Transmission performance directly affect the performance andfuel economy of vehicles, with the continuous upgrading of automobile industry, thetransmission has been developed from the original manual transmission (MT) for automatictransmission, including automatic transmission (AT), automated mechanical transmission(AMT), continuously variable transmission (CVT) and dual-clutch transmission (DCT).Automatic transmission instead of the original by driver’s manual operation, make drivingmore comfortable and convenient. So the study of automatic transmission has very importantsignificance. Because of the limitation to the automatic operation, then the required underautomatic control instruction to meet all the conditions as much as possible. This article iswith Zhejiang Geely automobile research institute co., LTD. Analysis the advantages and disadvantages of six speed AMT vehicle, evaluation thesignificance of AMT vehicle. Analysis of structure of electronically controlledautomatic transmission as well as the basic principles of.2. Build a six-speed AMT vehicle dynamics simulation model, using AMESimsoftware, the specific parameters of the original model accurately each. Modelincluding engine, clutch and it’s electric actuators, transmission and it’s electricactuators, differential and bodywork. Using the Geely automobile research institutes to experimental data, check the accuracy of the simulation model, and prove itsvalidity and reliability. Comparison results show that the accuracy of a model tomeet more than80%, can be used for the development of control strategies.3. Analysis evaluation indexes of vehicle starting process and according to the indexput forward the corresponding control strategy. Jerk and slipping work exist in theprocess of starting the two contradictory evaluation indicators, in order to balancethe two indexes, make them at the same time to achieve the ideal effect, puts forwardthe optimization control algorithm. At the same time, compared with the presenttechnology PID control algorithm.4. After comparison shows that the optimal control is more efficient, high quality.Development of vehicle rapid prototype, through the test optimization control invehicle, further its effectiveness.
