Automobile industry gives rise to unprecedented reforms in the transportation. Due tothe upsurge and rapid development of automobile industry, it seems that all of the bicycleshad been gone suddenly in China, which had ever been known as the kingdom of bicycles.Automobile not only takes convenience to us, but it occurs as a powerful push to the nationaleconomy. In2013, the production and sales of cars domestically hit20million, as well thisnumber breaks the world highest record again. Since it can be directly perceived, so thebeauty degree of coating process has an enormous influence on visual impression and desires.That is to say that the quality of coating process is one of the factors which affect sales ofvehicles directly, at the same time it’s an evaluation index before they buy a car.In this paper, we adopt many methods to analyze this question. We probe into severalstages in the process of coating technology such as: the manufacturing, technological processand quality control in a method to present quality control situations especially the ways toprevent dirty spot in all circumstances in coating workshops if at all. First, we introduce andanalyze overall quality standards and quality administration systems. Then we collect andanalyze quality status and problems rising from process of manufacturing in coatingworkshops. In this section we mainly focus on the cause of dirty spot (also called particles)and we discuss it from aspects of human, machinery, material, methods, environment andmeasurements. Finally, we put the causes all together systemically after we analyze allcircumstances, so that we come up with approaches coping with every type of situations andprecautions.I hope this paper can offer theoretical and realistic reference about analysis andresolutions of dirty spot, especially when it is applied to the vehicle coating workshops.
