The new type of concrete filled double skins steel tube is a newcomponents which is based on concrete filled steel tubular, outer tubemade of stainless steel, steel tube made of carbon steel, the part of coreconcrete is a new member with a steel tube instead. The components havemany advantages such as little weight, good resistance for earthquake,good stiffness for resist bending and good performance for resist fire, andhas been used in bridge pier, high-rise buildings, power transmissiontower maintenance and low cost, has been applied more and more intostructure, and often be used as a pressure members, but most of thesecomponents are in the state of eccentric compression in actual. This paperwill make research and analysis mechanical properties of the new type ofconcrete filled double skins steel tube under eccentric compression, andpropose capacity formula. This paper carried out the following works:1. Carry out the test that the new type of concrete filled double skinssteel tube under eccentric compression by changing slenderness ratio、hollowness、eccentricity, respectively. 2. Building the ABAQUS finite element analysis model ofcomponents, using the finite element software to calculate for test,comparing and discussing the result of test result.3. Based on orthogonal test and Finite element model analysis whichis proved by test data, Building the analysis model of different parameterof the new type of concrete filled double skins steel tube, the modelanalysis the result by the method of poor extremely, to determine theinfluence ratio of slenderness ratio, hollowness, and eccentricity.4. Carrying out parametric to the various factors of influence ofspecimen, the parameters of analysis main include: concrete strength,radius to thickness ratio of inner tube, the ratio of hollow, eccentricity. Inaddition, this article put forward the bearing capacity formula of the newtype of concrete filled double skins steel tube under eccentriccompression.
