As a heterogeneous material, rape stalk beton are very promising in civil engineering. But the add of rape stalk into concrete in equivalent substitution method will weaken the strength of concrete. With another add of Si powder, the water activity of admixture will improve and the amount of compact gel will increase, which will strengthen the concrete.The tensile property of the concrete with stalk ash was studied in this paper, and the data gained by the experiment was analyzed using Matlab. On the other hand, the paper also explored the working performance, mechanical property and the pH of the slurry of concrete with both stalk ash and the Si powder, and discussed the affection mechanism of the addition of admixture into concrete. By using the trial data, BP neural network was established to predict the compressive strength of stalk concrete. Some conclusion was obtained as follows:(1) The tensile property of the stalk concrete is the greatest when the percentage of stalk ash is15%-20%and the rate of the water and ash is0.5-0.55.(2) Under the same condition, the addition of Si powder will strengthen the cohesiveness and water-retaining property, and the compressive strength and the tensile property will improve by3%-24%and16%respectively.(3) By using the Matlab, the regression analysis was conducted and the equation’s verification was established.(4) The BP neural network can be applied in the prediction of the compressive of the rape stalk concrete. The net model of optimization method is Bayesian regular method and the neural network algorithm.
