In order to effectively expand the urban development space and easethe traffic pressure on the ground, The Taiyuan city in recent years carried outthe subway construction and The Metro Line2is the first subway lines. Pastpractice shows that Urban subway construction easily lead to the deformation ofthe surrounding ground, which may endanger the safety of the surroundingbuildings and underground pipelines. But the city of Taiyuan and even thewhole region in Shan Xi had never been subway construction and there is norelated experience for reference. Therefore, the study of Taiyuan’s Metro LineNo.2construction of the influence of surrounding ground deformation isnecessaryThis paper takes the Center Street Station of Metro Line2in Taiyuan as theobject, first understand the geological environment and hydrogeology conditionand engineering survey in the study area by collecting and analyses the regionalnatural conditions and hydro geological background information and thenresearch on the engineering geological and hydrogeological conditions of theproject area, based on field pumping test and laboratory soil test, to understand the various strata of the physical and mechanical properties of indicators, as wellas permeability, Through the survey results and test data, the hydrogeologicalconceptual model of the study area is established. Based on fluid-structureinteraction theory, by adopting the technology of FLAC3D, transformed thehydrogeological model into space three-dimensional structure model, andrespectively under different working conditions, the formation of the horizontaldisplacement and surface subsidence is simulated to solve.Through the analysis of the calculation results of the simulation, obtainedthe law of under different conditions of surrounding ground surface deformationcaused by foundation pit excavation in the precipitation: under no circumstancessupport, pit precipitation is excavated at7m, pit has a major horizontaldeformation, local over5m, pit collapsed; pit precipitation is excavated, thehorizontal displacement of the excavation face greater compared to other regions.Surrounding surface subsidence deformation pit was extended outward as thecenter ring. The area where the corner of pit has the large deformation range, forother locations1.2to1.5times. The degree of deformation of the ground is notgreater the closer the pit. The largest settlement area in a position which areaway from the pit. The simulation shows that the largest settlement area fromthe edge of the pit is about7m; compared with the calculation results withoutconsidering the Fluid-Solid coupling, considering Fluid-Solid couplingcalculation method is more consistent with the practical engineering, Accordingto the simulation results, when selecting the underground continuous wall with three support as the supporting structure, the level of surface deformation andsubsidence are reduced to within the require range.The results of this paper are summarized in a certain degree of thedeformation of the surrounding surface caused by dewatering excavation of deepfoundation pit. The reasonable choice of supporting method for Center Streetstation is provided to reduce the influence of surrounding surface deformation. Itprovides the research ideas and methods for the similar subway engineering inTaiyuan, and accumulate the research experience.
