Since the end of 20 th century,China's economy has entered the stage of rapid development,the number and scale of underground engineering development is increasing year in,a large number of deep excavation projects such as urban subway and high-rise buildings have been built successively.The Deep Foundation Pit project can become an important part of controlling the progress,quality and economy of the project,because of its high cost and huge construction quantity,it is necessary to devote a lot of financial and material resources.Many conditions will affect the design and excavation of deep foundation pit supporting structure,such as site engineering geology condition,construction condition,hydrogeological condition,field monitoring and nearby environment etc.As for the retaining structure of the deep foundation pit,different supporting structures have different application range because of their respective characteristics.As we all know,every year at home and abroad there will be a number of foundation pit project Safety accidents,on the one hand because the foundation pit project is relatively complex,at the same time there are many factors such as unreasonable design,monitoring is not in place,which will not only prolong the project duration,but also will cause a very serious waste of human and material resources and financial resources,Its consequences are immeasurable.Therefore,in order to reduce the hidden trouble of Deep foundation pit engineering,it is necessary to optimize the design of deep Foundation pit supporting system,and to study its excavation and support.This paper sums up the causes of the deformation and failure of the foundation pit and the types of the foundation pit failure,and briefly analyzes some deficiencies existing in the theory of deformation of the foundation pit.Combined with theexample of a deep foundation pit project of a subway station in Taiyuan,on the one hand,the site monitoring program is comprehensively introduced,the field monitoring data is summarized and briefly discussed,and the deformation of the foundation pit during excavation is briefly explained.In this paper,the finite difference software is used to simulate the various working conditions in the process of foundation pit excavation and flac3 d,and the deformation and stress distribution of the foundation pit during excavation are briefly analyzed.The horizontal displacement value of field monitoring and numerical simulation is compared,which shows that it is feasible to simulate excavation deformation of foundation pit with FLAC3D in some extent.
