As one of the major devices CTCS-2/3 train control system, the balise can provide the circuit basic data, station access, circuit temporary speed restrict and other information required by the C2-grade train control vehicle-mounted ATP; be used for the train positioning; provide positioning information for the C3-grade train. All these data concern the operation safety of the train. The correctness of the telegram delivered by the balise is the foundation to ensure the traffic safety of the high-speed rail. With the acceleration of the high-speed rail construction projects, the computer-aided tools for the automatic generation of the engineering data for the engineering application have achieved great development and improvement.Currently, the compilation and inspection of the active balise-generated telegram is faced with the problems of excessive manual operations, low efficiency and long period. In particular, there are too many engineering data. The manual compilation and inspection of telegram cannot meet the engineering demands. Therefore, this paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the structure and functions of the balise’s structure, the content and composition of the active balise-generated telegram at an attempt at efficiently and accurately compiling and inspecting the active balise-generated telegram.During the telegram compilation process, the train control engineering data can be inspected through the computer-aided automatic techniques and the telegram can be automatically generated. Besides, the storage of the station information data table, the intermediate data for the compilation of the active balise-generated telegram, can facilitate the modification of the telegram content in response to the changes of the engineering data.During the telegram inspection process, in order to ensure the accuracy of telegram compilation, the back-to-back compilation by two persons is adopted. Then, the compilation results are compared. This paper conducts an in-depth study into the format of telegram generation, and puts forward a method to compare the two versions of telegrams through the automatic retrieval technique. The method can quickly and accurately finds out the difference between the two and reveals relevant problems.In the development environment of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, this paper achieves the expected outcome through the computer software’s simulation of the engineering data reading, verification handling, telegram compilation, telegram content comparison and display, and combines the basic train control engineering data of Guiyang—Guangzhou Passenger Railway Line to test and verify the software functions. This research is referential for the improvement of the automatic degree during the automatic compilation and inspection process of the active balise-generated telegram in China’s high-speed railway control system.
