As one of the major secondary disasters, fire leads to huge losses of persons and properties in the past years. Recently years,with the building high stratification,and the use recombined,the Building fire shows an increasing trend, and attracts people’s attention. In all of the buildings, reinforced concrete structures have been used mostly. So,it is very important for people to know the variation of the carrying capacity of buildings in fire,and its influence to structures’ safety.The fire literature about the reinforced concrete structure existed at home and abroad are collected and reorganized in the paper.Apply and introduce that the materials mechanics properties of the reinforced concrete structure under fire and simulations of the fire field’s temperature,the examination and appraisal method of the damage and design of the structure reinforcement and so on combined the concrete project example,which provide good references for assessment and reinforcement of fire-damaged concrete structures.Firstly, this paper summarizes the mechanics properties change rules of the steel and the concrete material under the high temperature. Secondly,on the basis of the process in repairing, the paper focuses on how to get the fire field’s temperature and some general methods for fire detection, describe their advantages and disadvantages. And the identification criteria are given. Next, common some methods of reinforcement for concrete structure after fire.Finally,using the upper researching conclusions into engineering applications,the following study work are carried out:(1) Using many testing methods to analyze the temperature of fire;(2) Testing materials capacity and structure performance after fire;(3) Evaluating the damage degree of the structure,and rating the structural members.;(4) Considering fire temperature and testing result of material perfor mance,calculating the residual capacity of structure members after fire.(5) According to the appraisal result and the residual capacity,the project’s repair reinforcement suggestions are given, then making the reinforcement design.
