With the continuous development of the Internet industry, the energy management and saving of the household electrical appliances become an important problem for the developers to solve. It is become a basic objective of current home electrical control systems how to design an intelligent energy monitoring and control systems, which can display the status of power consumption and control the system in rare human intervention. All this can take high experience to users. Therefore the aim of this papere is to solve the problem of energy wasting by constructing a energy-smart home control system. And its core contents are the pattern recognition based on the characteristic parameters of electric household appliances, the creation of a time series prediction model and the realization of automatic control of electrical appliances.At first, this paper analyzes the research status and development trend of household appliances energy-saving control system. At the same time, it studys the existing phenomenon of smart home energy wasting, and points out that the wasting of enrgy is due to the weak of energy saving policies and the lack of awareness of energy conversation. Then it extracts the electric characteristic parameters by analyzing the waving, including power, power factor, the correlation of current waveform, the fluctuation coefficient of current waveform, and the content of pulse in starting current waveform. Then this paper designs a pattern recognition algorithm of household electrical appliances, including the identification of the state and the type. And it establishs a second-order AR model of energy characteristic parameters by which the system can make accurate predictions and give the predictable action. And this paper verifys the accuracy and stability of the algorithm of pattern recognition and prediction by the experiment of hardware and software.At the same time, the paper discusses the overall architecture and features of household appliances energy-saving control system and points out the advantages of the ZigBee LAN campared with the other several methods of network. And it also gives the design of platform framework including smart socket, ZigBee network and the master platform. And the master gateway module is consist of the S3C2440 A of SAMSUNG’s embedded processor and the peripheral extension including SDRAM, NANDFlash/NORFlash, power supply circuit, crystal oscillator circuit, reset circuit, the SDcard circuit,UART serial interface circuit and so on.Finally, the paper gives the design of the home control software. The software can control the household electric appliances online, including the start, stop, and much other status. And it can also display the image of electric parameters. The design of smart home energy-saving control system can automatically control electric appliances and achieve real-time and online control. And it can guide users actively participate in energy conversation and improve their awareness of energy conversation, which can reduce the energy consumption in certain eaxtent.
