In recent years, in both engineering applications and theoretical research fields, the non-asbestos sealing gasket has always been the hot spot of research. But due to its composition, it causes the creep phenomenon, which is obvious from it. So that it becomes an important factor to determine the service life. However, creep test requires amount of time and effort; therefore, carrying out the creep research on non-asbestos sealing gasket, building and deriving the creep model have particularly realistic value and theoretical significance.Firstly, the required raw material of non-asbestos sealing gasket is determined by the comparison of present kinds of raw materials, combining with beater-addition process. According to the former experimental study, a set of reasonable beater-process for preparing the non-asbestos sealing gasket has been summarized. And for the vulcanization technology, the orthogonal method supplemented by Z score evaluation method is used to evaluate the main performance of sealing gaskets and select the optimum process.Secondly, factors that affect the creep performance of sealing gaskets are studied by using non-asbestos beater-addition process sealing gaskets. And there are six main aspects, which include sealing gasket composition, fibre content of sealing gasket, thickness, temperature, compressive stress, and testing time. Experiments and analysis have been carried on the each factor.Finally, through respective study on the basis of thermodynamic process and viscoelastic theory, new creep empirical formula and creep model (parallel and serial models) have been set up for the non-asbestos beater-addition processed sealing gaskets. Data obtained from experiment is used in fitting the equation, and the result of empirical formula’s fitting is the best.The fitting curve of parallel model gradually shows level state, which does not fulfill the materials’ creep properties, can only be used for the creep fitting of materials on specific time.
