As interconnected power grid in China gradually built, large capacity and high parameter unit running continuously, the safety of power grid stability problem is highlighted. Turbine speed governor system is an important part in the power system, which plays a very important role in maintaining power system stability and applying to generating unit and grid coordination.This article first to study the steam turbine regulator. The double parameter model is established based on the mechanism of regulating valve hysteresis characteristics and establish the model parameter identification method.When this method is to use the closed loop control controller output as well as the process variable data, using least squares estimation method to identify whether there is a delay of control circuit, hysteresis model parameters are identified at the same time. For control loop oscillation caused by the regulator hysteresis characteristics, adopted by hysteresis model parameters threshold value to judge the hysteresis compensation control method of the conditions, this method can effectively reduce the oscillation amplitude, improving the quality of control.Analysis the working principle and composition of the turbine regulating system, introduces the dynamic and static characteristics of the turbine regulating system, and expounds the features of various reference index. According to the characteristics of each component part of the turbine regulating system, established the mathematical model of a typical turbine regulating system.Based on the analysis of power system low frequency oscillation of resonance mechanism of low-frequency oscillation oscillation characteristics, studies the influencing factors of low frequency oscillation characteristics. Considering the steam turbine and its speed control system and power system influence each other, and to explore by steam turbine control valve hysteresis characteristics caused by the valve output and low frequency oscillations of relations, when the regulator is caused by the oscillation frequency is in close proximity to power system natural oscillations frequency, it is possible to cause resonance mechanism of power system low frequency oscillation. Hysteresis compensation strategy is used to control tone hysteresis characteristics, can effectively reduce the amplitude of low frequency oscillation, achieved good control effect.
