Randomness of the wind power system brings adverse impact to the stability operation of power system, therefore, it needs to build a wind farm model that provides a theoretical basis for the actual production. Analysis computing, data storage and computing capacity for analyzing the dynamical and transient operating characteristics is very large, and sometimes cannot be carried out when we used a detailed model of large-capacity wind farms ordinarily. In order to reduce the burden of data storage and computing for large-scale wind farms, this paper dedicates to building the equivalent circuit of the entire wind farm modeling.Firstly, the author takes the double-fed wind power generation system as the research object, and introduces the detailed description of the modules for single double-fed wind turbine, including wind speed model, wind turbine model, mechanical transmission model, generator model and inverter model. The author builds a single double-fed wind turbine model on the PSCAD/EMTDC platform.Secondly, according to the impact of system failure after a large number of wind farms injected to the system, this paper proposed a clustering method based on the voltage transient characteristic, and then identify the transient state behavior of the strong correlation between wind farm group by the use of the hierarchical tree structure to display affinities for each wind farm. In order to verify the clustering method, the author has made program in the MATLAB, and divided the construction of wind farms into several clusters. Finally, this paper used the genetic algorithm to identify parameters based on the lumped model. According to the dynamic input/output variables of the detailed model. We can determine the model parameters, making the disturbed trajectory unanimous compared with the detailed models. At the same time, we joined a group (cluster analysis has not been directly lumped into a wind turbine)as the comparison group, and in the end, the new lumped model wind speeds were placed under normal conditions and circumstances under fluctuating wind speed, the simulation result shows that after the cluster analysis modeling, parameter identification of new crew completely conforms to the machine side and the network side of the control objectives.
