Nowadays, with the rapid progress of high-speed railway, safe operation has been playing a more and more significant roll. Lightning strike on the top of transmission towers and single-phase short circuit fault or even normal operation could be the trigger to electromagnetic interference problems between AC transmission lines and high-speed rail. It can be a great threat to high-speed railway power supply system, telecommunication system and signal system.To research on the electromagnetic interference problem between AC transmission lines and high-speed rail, this paper is specified in the following aspects: the power frequency electric field between AC transmission line and high speed rail; the effects on high-speed railway power supply system when lightning strikes on the top of transmission towers; telecommunication lines against danger and interference effects from power transmission lines after single-phase short circuit fault.The research of variation and protection distance is based on real engineering parameter of high-speed rail and AC transmission lines. By using CDEGS software we analyzed every factors, such as nominal height and crossing angle, which could affect the final result. Then study on the electromagnetic interference problems by the most serious simulation model.According to calculation and analysis, this paper figures out the safe protection distance, crossing angle and nominal height which could provide a theoretical basis and technical support for engineering design.
