Due to the proximity of the transmission path of power industry and gas/oil energy industry, the electromagnetic influence of power transmission line on gas/oil pipelines is becoming more and more seriously. Therefore,in order to the maintenance of safe and effective operation of gas/oil pipelines,it is very important to study the AC interference of transmission lines on buried gas/oil pipelines. This paper combines the project of Gansu Electric Power Design Institute “Study on Electromagnetic Influence of 750 kV AC Transmission Lines on Multiple Buried Pipelines”,the paper mainly studies the electromagnetic interference problem of the high voltage AC transmission line passing through the gas/oil pipelines, and puts forward the protection measures to mitigate the AC interference. In this paper, the limits of the electromagnetic effect evaluation system are given by analyzing the main problems involved in the electromagnetic effect of the AC transmission line on the oil and gas pipelines and the relevant limit values.Based on the simulation software CDEGS,electromagnetic simulation model of 750 kV AC transmission lines on multiple buried gas/oil pipelines has been built.Based on the electromagnetic model, for the 750 kV AC transmission line normal operation,single-phase short-circuit fault and lightning strike three operating conditions, the electromagnetic interference voltage of each operating condition of gas/oil pipelines under different soil resistivity obtained by calculation, the influence of the lightning strike on the interference voltage of the pipeline is discussed, based on the criterion of limit value in each operating state, the electromagnetic effect of each operation state is analyzed and evaluated. Finally, the pipeline design of the second West-East gas pipeline with the peak value of pipeline interference voltage exceeding the limit value during the normal operation of AC line is designed, and the protective measures are put forward to install the shielding net between the two towers. The electromagnetic model of the optimal protection scheme is established by exploring the influence of shielding mesh size, the relative position of shielding net and pipeline, and the connection of shielding net and grounding body of tower and tower, the calculation and comparison with the existing protective measures of parallel bare copper pipe laying, verify the effectiveness of the installation of shielded protective net.
