With increasing of electrical equipment and the sensitivity of industrial equipment is much higher, there is a growing demand for high quality power supply. Power quality problems could cause enormous loss to end-users, leading to low operating efficiency and energy waste. PPP that aims at providing high quality power with application of custom power technology has attracted all kinds of end-users who has big proportion of sensitive load. This paper focuses on power quality grading and pricing model in premium power quality park. First of all, this paper analysis characteristic of typical sensitive users and clear technical and economic consequences caused by power quality disturbance. Then analyze PQ requirements of end-users and finally form the power quality grading scheme.Power quality pricing has become a development trend. This paper discusses in detail the economic theories involved in the evaluation of economic costs and mitigation costs of power quality. The structure of economic costs is built, the definition of each cost item and quantitative methods are cleared. This paper proposes a pricing model based on power quality cost structure. On the premise of correctly reflect the cost of high quality power supply, the pricing model should considering the economic benefits of both end-users and distribution grid. At last, the evaluation methods and procedure for economic costs and mitigation plans of end-users are illustrated, the credibility of pricing model is proved with real examples. On the other hand, with the help of net present value (NPV) method, the economical effects of power quality mitigation device, such as dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) and uninterrupted power supplies (UPS), is compared.
