Transformer plays an important role in power system, it directly decides the safe operation of the safety of the power grid operation. Transformer winding is one of the core part of the transformer, transformer damage accident in recent years, as a result of the transformer winding deformation caused by accidents accounted for a considerable part of it.In order to timely discover and eliminate the potential hazard of transformer winding research detection and diagnosis method of transformer winding deformation is of great significance, in numerous detection method, the frequency response analysis method has advantages of simple operation, good repeatability and high reliability, widely used at home and abroad, but it needs to be improved in the analysis and diagnosis technology. Therefore, in-depth study based on the frequency response method of detection and diagnosis method of transformer winding deformation is very necessary.In this paper, through theoretical analysis, practical application on site and years of work experience, in view of the Tangshan power supply company, based on frequency response method are studied the detection and diagnosis method of transformer winding deformation and discipline, and then verified in practice.In this paper, by analyzing the transformer short-circuit current hit when the over-current and winding of electromagnetic force in the electromagnetic field, summarizes the reasons and forms of transformer winding deformation. Through the application of frequency response tester, this paper discusses the frequency response method in the practical work of the problems in the field, and put forward solutions. On the analysis of frequency spectrum method, the correlation coefficient method and difference method is introduced in summary the suitable for Tangshan power supply company transformer winding deformation detection and diagnosis methods and procedures, and the method is verified in the practical work. Practice shows that this method is applied in the working site is good, can accurate judgment fault of transformer winding. And the limitation of the frequency response method is put forward, as a kind of detection method, it is not very perfect, need a variety of auxiliary method to diagnose fault of transformer winding.
