Based on this research, the operation mode of Kailuan easten power grid is optimized. The line BZT device is introduced to Kailuan easten power grid. Before the introduction, the running of the spare lines need the participation of people and there are blackouts of long time in the substation when there are faults of operation lines. After the introduction of the line BZT device, the above problems have been solved. The paper has sorted out the parameters of the transformers and power supply lines in the substations of Kailuan easten power grid. Through the arrangement, three-phase short circuit currents under the maximum operation mode and two-phase short circuit currents under the minimum operation mode are calculated in the stations.On the basis of the above, the setting value of the installation of quick break protection is calculated. The paper has analyzed the operation characteristics of quick break protection in the longest and shortest lines of Kailun Power Grid. At the same time, the paper aslo puts forward some problems of quick break protection in the application of the short lines.According to power grid changes of the operation mode, the short power supply line and three terminal transmission lines and other issues, the essay puts forward anti override trip protection system of the whole network based on longitudinal differential protection and distribution automation technology.It is of great significance and value in the improvement of "Kailuan Power relay protection four", the security and stable operation of Kailuan Power system.
