In the process of the evolution of the earth, the earthquake disaster is a kind of inevitable phenomenon. Although human can not completely control it, but we can take targeted measures to minimize the damage to the building caused by the earthquake disaster and to reduce economic losses.The traditional earthquake fortification adopts in the single single fortification standards that take the life safety as the only goal.This building mostly will not cause serious casualties because the housing collapse in the earthquake.But the extent of structural damage under earthquake and the economic losses to people is difficult to control.Especially in today’s science and technology changes with each passing day, it is particularly important to control the earthquake damage to buildings and facilities, to reduce economic losses and to ensure a normal life after the earthquake.Seismic performance design,as a performance-based design method higher than the basic seismic fortification target,emerges as the times require.In this paper, based on the study of the seismic performance design at home and abroad,in accordance with the relevant standards at home and abroad and based on a practical engineering,the corresponding seismic fortification target was formulated.The seismic performance of the structure was analyzed theoretically.The static elasto-plastic of the project was analyzed with the software.In addition, the dynamic elasto-plastic of the structure was analyzed under two kinds of seismic fortification goal—medium earthquake elastic and medium earthquake not to yield.And the main research results are as followings:(1)According to the domestic and foreign relevant specifications, the overruns of a high-rise structure in high seismic intensity(8 degrees)area was studied.Combined with the characteristics of the project, analysis of the application of the the ground motion parameters and the seismic performance objectives of the project at different performance levels were determined to provide a reference for the similar engineering.(2)Aiming at the requirements of the seismic performance of the project,The structural elements of the project were ensured in the elastic under the action of small earthquakes, at the same time,do the seismic performance analysis about mediate-earthquake and large earthquake of the project.In addition, through the Pushover analysis,the weak parts of the structure were found out and corresponding measures were adopted to strengthen them.(3)The calculation formulas of two kinds of different performance objectives —medium earthquake elastic and medium earthquake not to yield and The similarities and differences of the content between steel bar and concrete and related parameters were studied in contrast.The angle of displacement of the structure under the action of fortification earthquake is 2.8 times than the angle of displacement of the structure under frequent earthquake action,to provide a theoretical basis for the control of seismic fortification layer displacement angle.The structural dynamic elastic-plastic analysis results of two fortification goals under rare earthquake and the destruction of the wall were studied in contrast.At last, the seismic fortification goal of medium earthquake elastic is higher than that of medium earthquake not to yield was verified.
